Athena is a state-of-the-art, five-story data centre expansion located at Macquarie Park, Sydney. The facility is set to house the Sovereign Cyber Security Centre of Excellence and will be monitored around the clock by a team of engineers equipped with the latest tools.

The data centre will offer 6,300 sqm of data halls, 3,215 sqm of office space, and over 13,000 sqm dedicated to electrical and mechanical services. Valued at AU$264 million, Athena will provide robust power systems, including at least 10 diesel generators, ensuring high levels of reliability and security. The development is designed to serve a major cloud computing provider, marking it as a significant addition to the region’s infrastructure.
